​​​	​The Trust Fund for Excellence in Sports (TFES) was set up in 2002 to design, finance and implement projects and schemes for the benefits of young promising and elite athletes as well as retired sportsmen and sportswomen.
	Providing Support to Athletes pursuing Secondary, prevocational, vocational and tertiary studies both locally and abroad. Providing socio-professional integration of sportspersons through State Recognition Allowance Scheme for retired athletes.
